Our community was born in August of 2002 and originally known as BarkBack.com (actually a bit older than that when it used to be called Dog Discussion Board) and was created to help fellow dog owners with questions about their new dog. It has evolved over the years to provide feedback on training, nutrition, health issues, grooming, breeding . . . . you name it!

Beginning in 2007 the forum has now evolved into a Whippet Forum. While this is new, we still encourage other dog owners to join and participate in the All Breed Forums as there is still a lot of great information there.

We currently have over 1000 registered members from all over the world.

WhippetTalk also has forums where we don't discuss our dogs in an attempt to get to know each other better or just vent. We share human interest stories, jokes and observations with each other.

We are a moderated forum and do not tolerate any attacks to our membership. This has led to an atmosphere where our membership is comfortable to share their questions and comments without being afraid to express themselves as they do on other sites.
