As you all know, we've been dealing with some SA issues with our new whippet. Well, we also have an IG that loves to eat and will do ANYTHING to get to food. We put up a dog gate last year to keep him out of the kitchen and therefor away from the treats. That was working just fine... until he started working with Guinness. I'm sure Guinness is the one that actully got the dog gate down (in his SA panic) but after that it was all Leggs. They ate a good $20 worth of dog treats and I'm sure we'll have a few accidents overnight due to upset bowels... shit.gif

Anyhow, here's the damage:

Above we have the toppled gate. In the far bottom corner you can see a wire...

Once upon a time, that wire was my phone charger!!!!!!!!!!! yikes.gif There goes $40...

Last but not least, the destroyed dog treats. The green bag was almost full!! That's over 20 dental chews right there, plus the 2 "Healthy Edibles" bones from the other bag, and a handful of other chews & treats. sick.gif Now where did I put the pepto...

I hate when they pool their efforts against you. Lopez will actually work together with the cat to pull the trash can down. Our old cat used to pimp out the younger one. I would here her say "meow. meow meow", the younger one would come running and the old one would con her into tnocking over the can. By the time I got there, the old girl would have run away with the big prize, leaving the younger cat to take the blame. Now the younger one and Lopez combine efforts.
Zorro's Mom
Haahaha! Sorry but that made me laugh! lmao.gif (Of course it wouldn't have been so funny if Zorro did that!!)

Man, I feel your pain! We keep child-proof locks on the garbage cabinet doors, as Greyson is a master at getting in quickly and pulling out the trash. I put the snacks in a cabinet that has a door that sticks, so while he knows where they are kept, so far he's been unable to get to them! Lucky for us, I don't think Carson realizes the power they could have if they worked together!!!

Ugh!! It almost makes you dread coming home after that episode!!

Our Nezi has just figured out how to dump over the trash can.... ewwwww!

Get set for a fun few days of cleaning up after the kids! I highly recommend using paper towel to pick up as much "stuff" as possible and then using plain seltzer water on the remaining stains. Don't use the carpet cleaner stuff cause it bleaches the carpet color.

Got to lock them treats up from now on!!! :-)

BTW, I hear Iggies are much more adept at breaking and entering and counter surfing when they can get up on the counters-even more so than whippies.

Yeah, we've had major blow-out liqui-poo since it happened. After cleaning up like 10 messes I got the idea to carpet the hallway in potty pads LoL That way all I had to do was throw away the pad, no mess on carpet!

Reddijet- Our carpets are very light tan so we don't worry about bleaching the color. I really like Urine-Off for cleaning up messes though, it pulls the stink out really well. Of course I have to go back over it later to get the stain out of the carpet...

Louie (my Chinese Crested) seems to be on the mend, he's making it outside now. Poor Leggs isn't doing great though. He puked twice today and it was the most foul-smelling, nasty, dark brown liquid. He won't eat anything either. Soooo we may be headed to the vet sometime tonight with him =( doesn't help that I'm sick too or we would have taken him in earlier today.

No wonder you're sick, cleaning up all that crap! We have laminate now. When we got Lopez, she had been a porch breeder for five years and she had not exprerienced puppyhood. She made up for it by eating every off the wall, pooh inducing substance that she could find. Yep, laminate is for us now! Hope the doggies feel better soon. dogcookie.gif yikes.gif
