I know many people would be extremely skeptical to take their pet to an animal communicator (imagine the eye-roll from my hubby lol.gif ). I felt compelled to do so after acquiring our 4 year old Whippet in January as we continue to figure him out.

Well, it was quite amazing how accurate the communicator was with her feedback. There was only one real generality (that our dog likes cheese - what dog DOESN'T like cheese) but the rest of the info from our end was correct. The funniest answer from our dog is how he feels about our younger Whippet - "he's bossy." lmao.gif

I think it would be fun to do at a party, like a fortune teller, but I do find it hard to believe. I mean, even if they could communicate with one type of animal, why would they be able to talk to the other types. When you think about it, if you have a dog, cat, hamster and a horse. That's five different languages between all of you. When I was a kid, I had the reputation as a sort of "horse whisperer". I still do well when I bet at the track. I can also look at his face, or close my eyes to listen to the movement and know in seconds if a horse, completely strange to me, had an owie. People used to rave about it, but realy I was a kid with a load of spare time. I spent hours at the barn with my horses. I wasn't allowed to have a dog, so I just walked my horse around all day, and when I got bored, I would exercise any other horse that I could get on. After all that time working with them, I just got used to what they feel like. I could even tell what kind of personality that the owner had, based on their horse (breed, grooming habits, training etc.) Bottom line, I think most of these people don't read the animal, they read you. Most people who go to those things (or watch them on TV), will say that they are skeptical, but are actually a bit more receptive then they think they are, because alot of people don't even give it thought at all. The communicator knows this. I found that especially with horses and dogs, people seem to have strong prefrences related to breeds, or types. There are not many people who will go and adopt, or purchase, "just anything". Communicators are just intellegent people, who excell at listening, and observing (a hard to come by skill in western society), and have good people skills. It is however, fun to see! lol.gif
