Hi all!

I'm new to the forum, not to whippets though

I am currently owned by a pack of 6 dogs.

3 Whippets, 2 Basset Hounds, and 1 English Setter.

We have built for speed, built for comfort, and built for hunting!

All are beloved pampered house pups and seasoned travelers (we camp alot and have traveled back and forth the country more than once!).

The Whippies
Jasper - 9 yr old fawn and white male
Loosie (aka Goose) - 6 yr old white with brindle female
Sophie - 5 yr old black female

The Bassets (or "Slow 'n Lows")
Douglas - 4 yr old tri-color male
Rupert - 2.5 yr old fawn and white male

English Setter
Kasey (aka Miss Kasey Bubbles) - 6 month old tri (mostly white an black) female


Sure it's crazy having such a big pack, but I love them all to pieces and wouldn't have it any other way

hi and welcome,i love camping but havent taken the dude,as the husband has decided we r to old to camp(he's a dork) how r ur whippets camping?

Considering we have a "dog kennel on wheels" they do quite well We have a 35' 5th wheel so there's no real roughin' it. The biggest problem is that it becomes a chore to take that many pups out to go to the bathroom!

Yaay! Another Atlanta Whippy lover! I am always looking for other people owned by Whippets in my area -- I'm in Buckhead off 75 & Moores Mill Rd -- and I've met quite a few in the 2 1/2 yrs I've had Z. I live in a condo without a yard, otherwise, I'd invite your pack down for a run. Let me know if you know of a place near you...I'd love to get them together sometime!! Hello and  to Whippet Talk. You have quite a crew, and yes that would be a lot of trouble getting them all out of a 5th wheel to go to the bathroom while camping, but it still would be fun, and you are lucky to be able to travel across country.

I love English Setters, especially the tri-colors. Bassetts are so cute, too. I hope you post pictures of them all.
