Okay, let's post a photo of our dog(s) and their name(s) so that we all know who has which dog. This should also help the new members to familiarize themselves with the veteran members and pets.
 I am Kim, the hostess of WhippetTalk.com and Whippet Radio. I am owned by a male white and brindled whippet named Reebok. He is from Andauer Whippets, sired by Dominick. Here's my boy!

Hi All!
I have enjoyed reading all the whippet antics and viewing the pictures that everyone has posted, so I decided to sign-up and post an introduction! First my name is Frances.. My sight hound love started 15 years (ish) ago when I saw the most adorable puppy in a pet store - the sign said something about a greyhound. I said NO WAY... That thing is gonna be HUGE. So I wound up with a Skipperke (BIG mistake.. I was young and not so smart... still making really unwise decisions - this really hasn't improved by much..i just pretend it has) After the untimely loss of the Devil-Dog (Skipperke), I decided that I'd actually research breeds. I thought of that really cute greyhound or something or other in the pet store. That Greyhound turned out to be an Italian Greyhound, and after I read and read, I was convinced, that the IG was my breed... So I found a breeder, and I was the human that would be at Dino's beck and call for the following 14 years... In that time, I had also decided that Dino needed a friend, so 7 years in, Alex (another IG) was brought in to my home. Dino was definitely not Alex's best friend, but Dino belonged to Alex. (Dino was an Old Soul, and had no time for that puppy). Fast forward - A little over a year ago, we lost Dino to old age and cancer, and decided we needed another dog. My vet loves whippets so... I researched Whippets. Enter into the household Murphy! What wonder! I'm in love with Whippets!! Murphy pretends he doesnt know his name for months and months... he still doesnt come when I call him... until i say Snack! What a willful boy. He just turned 1. As it happens... Dino taught Alex well... now Alex is 7, and a ornery old man. He will not run in the yard with 'that thing' and will not give Murphy the time of day on most days... My husband and I discussed this over and over... we were so sad for Murphy.. on one hand he is mellowing out.. but he is also still a puppy and wants to play... so... as you can probably surmise... Enter Jasper.... Jasper is in the PITA stage of life - what a house! I sometimes think we bit off more than we can chew...but think forward a couple of months when the dogs are all being calm at once! Alex:
